It's not just the team, it's fans and the city that lose when the Lions fall, the area's copy editors lose, too. And that means me. In my time at the OP, I still have yet to author a winning Lions headline. Depressing stuff, I know.

Paul Kampe is a copy editor and page designer for The Oakland Press, responsible for laying out the paper, hunting down spelling and grammatical errors and occasionally covering high school sports in Oakland County. He also covers Oakland University men's and women's basketball.
