You may have noticed as I did, that all three pro sports teams in Detroit worked overtime Sunday. The number crunchers at STATS, LLC. sure did, pointing out that Sunday was the first time teams from the same city went to OT in the NFL, NHL and NBA in the same day.
Unfortunately, the Red Wings were the team to lose, as the Lions snapped an NFL-record 26-game road losing streak and the struggling Pistons used a shuffled lineup to steal a win from the New Orleans Hornets.
